Well I've seen many guides on wizard/bard and most of them asks u to get all the skills from bard and wizard..
Well i think i might create a guide of my own and only choose the skills which are necessary as a wizard with bard subclass...hope u will like it..

    Introduction

First of all as we know wizards are the fastest solo levelers..(taking they don't die too much)
but wizard/bard could be better than wizard/cleric if you choose the right spots and mobs according to your level...
And the advantage of wizard/bard is that you can get a good movement speed bonus and you don't need to spend too much gold on speed drugs..
and also at later levels you can easily join a 24/7 pt cause most of the high level party lack in bards(in my server at least)...

    Weapons and Gears

Well first of all you need a good staff

Don't think of getting it right away cause u need to kill hell lot of a mobs to get there..

While buying a staff or doing alchemy try to get these blues/stats in the first place..
-high mag attack power(+50% or more)
    -good attack rate
    -int increase
    -attack rate increase
    -blocking ratio increase

And now you need a good harp as your secondary weapon

Well many of you might say what's the use of getting a higher level harp.
Well it's useful if you are in a party cause mana healing depends on your weapons mag.attack power..

While buying a harp or doing alchemy try to get these blues/stats first
-high mag attack power(+50% or more)
    -int increase

While going for a wizard/bard build you can wear robe only

While buying a robe or doing alchemy try to get these stats/blues first
    -higher mag. defense
    -higher phy. defense
    -higher parry ratio
    -hp increase
    -int increase

    Skills

    Wizard skills

    Natural spirit
Well there are the basic skills needed to unlock the rest of the wizard skills..so just max them all..

    Force mental
Well these are the skills that is the wizard's best weapon..
You will get life control and life turnover which will decrease your hp by 50% but also increasing your mag attack power by a great amount..
These 2 skills helps in 1 hitting the mobs that normally will have some amount of hp left when nuked without life control/turnover.

The other two skills i.e intelligence and magic bound are also necessary as intelligence decrease the amount of mp consumed and magic bound increases your attack range..

    Earth mentalist

Ground charge- well some people don't find this skill useful but i suggest you take it..cause..it helps you at later levels and while giving taxi's

Root - well it's the most useless skill there is..binds the enemy to ground but if you attack him the skill will automatically be cancelled ... just skip it..

Earth shock- your best aoe skill..just take it..

Earth barrier-greatly absorbs the physical damage...very useful while killing a giant...take it..

    Ground rave-same as ground charge

    Mesh root- same as root

Earth quake- same as earth shock

Earth fence- same as earth barrier ^^

    Cold mentalist

Ice bolt -good nuke with a chance of frost bite and freezing and opens frozen spear for later take it..

Mana drain-well i suggest you to not take this skill as it only drains mana and while you are busy using this skills...after 4-5 secs you will see yourself falling on the ground..

Snow wind-aoe skill with a higher freezing and frostbite probability than ice bolt ..take it..

Invisible-as we can see rev6 allows pk2 edit's so there's no use taking this skill

Frozen spear-ice bolt which hits 3 times the good thing about this skill is that your enemy has a less chance of blocking it..same probability of freezing as that of ice bolt

Mana drought - same as mana drain

    Blizzard- same as snow wind

Crystal invisible- make you and your party invisible but if your enemy have pk2 edit he can see your whole party ^^

    Fire mentalist

Fire bolt- your 2nd most powerful single target nuke..

Fire trap - good for jobbing as you can use it on the entrance of a town and boom..you can take all the stuff and run away(if you are a thief "duh")

Fire blow- good against giants as you don't need to keep recast skills..but as it is aoe if touches other mobs then they will start attacking you too so sometimes it becomes like preparing for your own funereal ^_^

Detect- just download the pk2 edit ^_^

Meteor- your highest damage nuke with a small aoe..

Lava trap - same as fire trap

Salamander blow - same as fire blow

    Sprawl detect- same as detect

    Lighting mentalist

Lightning bolt-well i don't find this skills really useful but i would make it optional for you as it can hit 3 targets but dont have a high mag. attack power

Lighting shock- well if you think you have lots of sp left even after getting rest of skills max..then u can get it..is helpful sometimes cause gives the enemy fear status..i.e they cant attack you for 10 secs..

Charged wind- don't take this skills as a nuke but as a life-saving skill cause it have probability to knock back your enemies and it hits the enemy 6 times so it never fails..just get it..

Teleport- teleports you instantly in a specific range..try to get it cause sometimes help in escaping..(i haven't took it though)

Chain lightning- same as lightning bolt

Lightning impact - same as lightning shock

Charged squall- same as charged wind.

    Aerial teleport- same as teleport

    Bard skills

    Bards dream
Vibration-we wont be taking bards nukes so skip this skill.

Echo- increase the aoe of your tambours and march...take it..

Music life- decreases the mana consumption while using dances or harp playing..take it...

Prism- decreases the probability of stopping the tambours when you are attacked by a mob.

    Battle chord
Skip all these skills as we wont be taking bard's nukes

    Music pleasure
These is your main treasure as these are the skills you will be using while in a party...just max them all....

    Melody
Well these are the bunch of skills you are going to skip...just skip it..or trying reading what they do and then skip them..

    Sound

Tuning noise-deals some absolute damage but not too much..just skip it..

Mana cycle- this is the skills that makes bard never return to town ever cause it uses mana and then gives you more mana....(considering your weapon doesn't breaks)

Noise- prevents general mobs from attacking you..doesn't apply for champions/giants...also apply for general(party)..and the good thing is it doesn't disappear after switching weapons..

Mana wind- not really useful as you would rather farm alone at low levels...and you can get mana orbit later..

Discord wave- pure waste of sp.....

Tuning sound- same as tuning noise

Mana breeze-you can get this skill until you reach level 70...good for party play..

Mana orbit- aoe mana cycle.. i.e all your party members recovers mana..what else do you want?? ^_^

    Beautiful life

Tripping- increases the aoe of your dances.

Screen dance- same as prism but apply for dancing concert series..

    Dancing concert

These are all your dances just max them all cause if got another bard in your party..you can level like lightning.

    Farming tips and Spots

Don't think creating a wizard/bard will cost u less sp than any other euro build
you will be needing 2,540,322sp if you are aiming for a level 110 ff build excluding some optional skills.

You can try to do phase farming like i did or if you already have a high level char u can farm sp at ongs.

Well i don't know know about other people but i have done my sp farming in phases till now..you can also do it like this...
i am going to tell you how it is done...

First don't level up any skills unless you farm a specific amount of sp..
Just open rev6 sp calculator and calculate how much sp you need from your current level to planned level..

    Take the phases like this..

    First phase--------level 13
    Second phase----------level 21
    Third phase-----------level 30
    Fourth phase-----------level 40
    Fifth phase-----------level 50
    Sixth phase----------level 60
    Seventh phase---------level 70
    Eighth phase----------level 81

After u have done sp farming for eight phase you can farm sp accordingly to your needs as you will be pt.playing after level 80 so you wont lack in sp then..
However i recommend try to find some friends and start pt.playing from low levels...cause pt.playing is the best way to level in sro..

Here are the most basic spots that a wizard can farm at without dieing too much..
Level 1-30 --------------- well there is no specific spot for early levels as you level too fast and there is no specific spot where you can stay for long.
Level 30-38 -------------- farming at the kokuru is the best option you've got ..you might die sometimes but still you will level very fast as the kokuru spawn rate is pretty good.
Level 38-48 ------------ well at these level you can stay at maongs.. and also you wont die there as you've got noise which prevents them from attacking you..and they ain't got any champion or giant.
Level 48-56 ------------- well you can move to ujigis at these level as they also ain't got any giant or champion.. and there is a spot where only ujigi spawns..but im not gonna tell you where it is as the spot will be used be many players hence leaving no mobs..
Level 56-63 ------------- just move to sonas you can easily 1 hit them with using lifecontrol or if you've got a good weapon you can 1 hit them without lifecontrol also..
Level 63-68 ------------ at these levels you can move to shakram/edimmu spot as with earth barrier you can easily survive a giant...just don't use lifecontrol against these mobs
Level 68-7x ------------ well after you reach level 68 you should move to snipers as you can 1 hit them using lifecontrol and a +3 staff..it's up to you how long you decide to stay on that spot...i recommend farming sp at snipers with a 9 gap..
Level 7x++ ------------ well it's about time your bard skills come to rescue you can join any party and be their bard or you can also choose to be a wizard if your party lacks in wizard

    Solo Vs. Pt.Play

    Party Play

Well as we all know that pt.playing is the best to level faster in SRO
And creating a wizard with bard subclass helps a lot..
For example most of the euro players take cleric as their sub class but only few of them take bard as a subclass..
So you might hardly find a pt.saying needed cleric for mobs level XXX or so..but as they lack in bards their is a higher chance
that you will easily find a party if you are a wizard/bard..From my personal experience i have found that bard can join a party at 20 levels higher than his level
cause of the buffs he got..
A Friend of mine is level 84 bard and is farming at level 102 mobs...on the other hand a level 90 cleric cannot seem to find a party even in jangan cave ^_^....So that's the reason where wizard/bard gives us the advantage over wizard/cleric.
And if your party already got 2 bards then u can be their wizard too..so their is a very less chance that you wont find a party ^_^.

    Soloing
Some people say that wizard/cleric are the fastest solo levelers in SRO... but guess what they haven't tried wizard/bard build yet...
wizard/bards are the fastest levelers in SRO..because they got moving/swing march which increases their speed like s**t and noise which prevents them from preemptive attack of mobs..if you try to choose the mob spots that i told you about in previous section then u might die very rarely..
But just remembers this "you cant tank a giant mob which is same as your level or 2-3 levels less" unless u got a very good set..this is the area where
wizard/cleric got advantage..but remember you still got the speed
well if you are a legit player then giants cant do nothing to you also cause u just gotta use charged wind and teleport away from the mob then nuke him..
with a NPC staff it will take a max. of 7-9 hits to kill a giant mob..but a critical from the mob can make you hit the ground..
but here the real life saving buff comes to action...remember you can easily kill a giant mob having magical attack..but if it have physical attack then the Earth barrier...and some luck come into action..you will be able to tank the mob easily with earth barrier as it takes about 15-20 secs for a wizard to kill a giant..(pretty fast huh?)..and earth barrier is active for 15 secs.. so if u have a bit of luck and some vigors u can easily kill a giant having physical attack.
But if you are not lucky and the mob hit u a critical strike then u might see yourself falling on the ground(it normally takes a critical from mob to kill a wizard)

    PVP

Well wizard/bard are not so good as wizard/cleric while it comes to pvp 1v1.
but they can surely own the others in group events such as CTF/Battle Arena/Fortress war.
As they can change their job in the pt.on the go..if the party lacks in defense they can provide tambours giving extreme defense.
or if the party lacks in wizard they can be the main damage dealer..these are the few skills that you will be using frequently in a pvp

    -Meteor(Your most powerful nuke)
-File bolt(your second most powerful nuke)
-Earthshock(best aoe skill can kill multiple enemies in 1 hit)
-charged wind(KB enemies saves you from getting attacked by melee enemies)
    -fireblow(less casting time more damage)
-teleport(saves u most of the times if used correctly)

Just Remember wizard/bard cant win 1v1 pvp with the player of same level unless the other player is a wizard or you have a full seal of sun set ^_^

Its hard to read the blue titles, maybe you can change them to another color? ^^ Also its better to mark the 'must-take' skills in green, optional in blue and useless skills in red to make your guide abit easier to understand.

    Its a nice one, thanks.
