We posted a few hours earlier a Massive DC exploit which can only be used to make the client of legit player crash. This exploit is due to the following missing file:

data.pk2
prim\ani\mob\common\event_winter_snowman\event_winter_snowman_pickup.ban

By added that file to the pk2, Joymax will have solved the main part of the client crashing issue.
There is some solution on srf forum and rev6 forum about how to temporarily make the new event monster appear as a mangnyan monster to prevent the client from crashing. Though, it would be appreciated if Joymax could take the time to add that file.

It is Christmas holiday; I do not believe there will be a fix anytime soon. Though, we have pin-pointed the issue.

Well guess what, new massive DC which can be used during the next Fortress war, Roc, etc which will be used to ruin other people fun. We are releasing this as a way to inform people and hopefully get Joymax to fix this by tomorrow Server inspection to reduce the amount of damage caused by this exploit.

I still do not have any direct Joymax contact so exploit will keep going out public.
The day I will have a direct contact, the exploit will be reported to Joymax directly.

Please note, this isn't an exploit but a Bug for whoever doesn't have a premium item.

There is 4 login server DNS:
gwgt1.joymax.com -> 121.128.133.28
gwgt2.joymax.com -> 121.128.133.30
gwgt3.joymax.com -> 121.128.133.28
gwgt4.joymax.com -> 121.128.133.29

sro_client.exe randomly select one of those 4 dns server.
Please note this is random, but since there is 2 dns pointing to the same ip
Odds are more people will connect to the '121.128.133.28' login server.

Making such a server to be avoided at all cost since on a perfect odds
121.128.133.28 -> 25% -> 50%
121.128.133.28 -> 25% -> 50%
121.128.133.29 -> 25%
121.128.133.30 -> 25%

Meaning the lineup of the server .28 will be twice as long as .29 and .30
Also, since last time, a lot of people are hugging the .30 server since it is gwgt4.joymax.com
If user hasn't realised, recently the .29 server lineup has been the shortest one.
But than again, those are just odds.

Please also be advised that the "...Requesting user confirmation" message should appear each 20 seconds.
If the message doesn't appear, this mean your sro_client.exe is bugged.

Requesting Joymax to fix the pk2 file
/media/DIVISIONINFO.TXT
Please remove the extra dns so the amount of DNS equal the amount of ip.
This way each lineup will have an identical distribution.

Those bug prevent newer player from joining Silkroad
Since it prevent them to login 50% of the time and than they switch game.

First exploit is the Murder Status exploit can be done with any character:

You need a friend on this exploit, let go in detail.
#1 ask your friend to send you a party invite.
#2 when you see the party invite do not accept it
#3 attack your friend, your name is now purple
#4 accept the party that your friend sent you
#5 as soon as you accept the party, your name is white.

Tested today by myself [It work]

Now as you can figure out, your name can be purple for 0.1 seconds xD
That were the exploit come into handy.
You need to have your name purple, for the ennemy to attack, but you also need to join the party before they attack, so it a risky game, fun to do when no one know the exploit. When people know the exploit, it a different story (cast low damage fast attack skill or normal attack)

Watch out, if you use this exploit and the ennemy attack you before you join the party, even if you do join the party, your name will stay purple. So if you see someone using this exploit, cast a skill that does low damage, if he joined the party before you casted it, your name will become purple, if you casted it fast enough, he's name will stay purple even if he join the party.

Exploit #2 - Preventing user from removing the PVP Cape
You have a healing skill, you hate someone, remove your cape, wait for him to be tired to do some pvp. When he remove he's cape, heal him with the chinese healing skill that transfert 2 target (doesn't work with cleric), it will prevent him from removing the cape even in town.
Luckily, you can just use the town teleport and hopefull he won't town teleport on the same direction as you. So you can remove the cape after succcessfully running away from him.
